This original floss, Flosspotā¢ Silk, is a refillable mini mason jar filled with a 40m spool of luxurious silk dental floss, lightly waxed for strength and ease of use between tight teeth, lab tested for purity. Flosspotā¢ Gold is a refillable stainless steel jar filled with a 50m spool of floss made of PLA from corn, an alternative to fossil-based plastics, lab tested for purity and compostability.
Flosspotā¢ Silk was several years in the making. We wanted to get it right the first time by launching with complete lab-tested authentication for purity and transparency for our customers and we welcome any and all feedback. Plastic under the gum line (especially when coated in teflon) either with floss or a toothbrush bristle, simply no longer makes sense, especially now that healthier alternatives are available.
